Final Mask!

VOILA!

v

I guess theres always a first time!

I wanted my mask to be customized to the m-m-m-max! so I tried to make a clay mold mask, which went pretty far but didnt end it the way I wanted it to end. Not really familiar with sculptures and molding clay masks, well just being explorative I tried it out. well since it didnt go well, I guess I'll try something else with white clay some other time!

Well I applied news paper and PVA, white glue all around a balloon (to get the shape of a head) and apparently I guess the structure wasn't hard enough? so the white clay couldn't be applied on top of the structure but oh well i guess it was fun to play with clay, just like GOOD'OL'TIMES in kindergarten and primary. -_-

The reason behind Slipknot masks

Masks used in Animes

Masks are fairly used in animes too. Like Ive noticed from the well known anime Naruto. Tobi wears a mask, that always made the audience wonder who is hiding behind the mask. Also I have noticed the character Kakashi from naruto. He covers his mouth and his "sharingan" eye is covered by his head band. well thats basically a mask although its not directly a mask. So I thought I would throw that in too.
Well speaking of anime's. Masks are fairly used in the well known anime "Bleach". If you watch bleach you must have noticed by now, captain of the 12th squad division, Kurotsuchi Mayuri always used face paint (mask-like). Although his true identity is shown in one of the episodes. which is only one side of his face. who knows? maybe his other half is burnt? or he hides his true emotions? although he appears nasty wicked with face paint (mask). Last but not least, Arrancars and Vizards from bleach also has masks according to their personality and emotions. either to cover it up or to show.
